At the Kapelweg in Sint-Job, an allotment was developed for 5 linked houses on behalf of Reno-Art nv. The classical regulations were changed in such a way that a slightly different architecture could be realized. The most important anomaly is the modification of the destination of the extension in the side garden strip, traditionally the garage. In the current design, this space is intended as a living space, so that the living space can extend over the entire garden width, resulting in a great openness, feeling of space and lots of light in this living space. Furthermore, the specific cadastral orientation of the plot was respected, so that the dwellings are staggered in relation to each other. This is not only pleasant in terms of volumetricity, but also contributes to the privacy and identity of each individual home.
